National Workshop on MARPOL Annex VI held in South Africa

A national workshop on “MARPOL Annex VI and Technology Transfer” is currently taking place in Durban, South Africa.

The three-day workshop aims to raise awareness and provide an overview of MARPOL Annex VI and GHG emissions, as well as IMO regulations including Attained EEDI, Required EEDI and SEEMP, and is being delivered to participants from various Government departments of transport, environment, energy, technology, maritime administrations, ports, and professional associations with an interest in ship energy efficiency and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
